"Stakeout iCMT" is a practical application that offers a range of features aimed at aiding users in conducting point stakeout and line stakeout tasks with precision. The app allows users to digitize Points, Lines, and Areas of interest directly on the integrated map. Utilizing GPS technology, the point stakeout feature assists users in navigating towards specific features seamlessly. The Line Stakeout functionality provides measurements for the distance between the user and a selected Line or Area, facilitating movement parallel to or along the designated line, making it suitable for tasks like stake fence lines or define river boundaries. Moreover, the app is particularly useful for laying out extensive pipelines in remote regions.

Users have the option to import design data based on WGS 84 and LLA coordinate systems from Shapefiles or DXF files, enhancing the versatility of the app. It also supports sharing job files via email, exporting Feature data as DXF files, or saving the information to a PDF file. It is important to note that the accuracy of location data is dependent on the GPS receiver employed by the user, and extended use of GPS in the background may lead to reduced battery life. The application conveniently allows users to toggle the built-in GPS functionality on or off according to their needs.

Additionally, "Stakeout iCMT" includes a built-in help file for user guidance and generates files within its dedicated Documents folder to store user data securely. Users can employ iTunes' File Sharing section to transfer these data files between their device and a computer effortlessly.
